Kuster is the class horse here and can win this from Maniatis and Barking Mad. Luca Cumani's gelding was successful off a mark of 88 last season and wasn't disgraced last time out in a top amateur riders event when finishing third behind stable companion Mephisto. On official ratings he has plenty in hand of today's rivals. Maniatis landed a Southwell claimer last time and prior to that ran well off a mark of 76 in a competitive York handicap and should be the one to chase home the selection. Barking Mad is a horse difficult to win with but should be spot on after three promising efforts and will no doubt be there at the death. Frankie Dettori's mount Wake should be best of the others, but Kuster has everything in his favour and looks set to make a stand.
