Joe Packet has only disappointed once in five previous visits here and should be in the firing-line again. Secret Look has won twice over track and trip but it was only a claimer he landed last time at Wolverhampton. Ice Age is another with winning form over course and distance and it was a better race in which he finished third here last time – he can race off a 2lb lower mark this evening. Inclination failed to complete a four-timer here last time but has her favoured fast ground again so can't be ignored. However, it could be worth taking a chance on FAIRWAY TO HEAVEN as he was second here back in October when 5lb higher and looked to be coming to hand last time at Goodwood – title-chasing Jim Crowley is a significant jockey booking.
