This looks a better than average maiden for the track. Alphabet made an encouraging start in a very strong Curragh contest and though unable to hold off Holy Cat at Leopardstown the winner looked very impressive. Blitz has shown very good pace over the minimum on both starts but this is a very stiff finish and she'll need to stay on better. Elizabeth Browning has been disappointing while Grecian Divine has had enough chances and may get her first victory in a nursery. HUNAINA has been unfortunate not to have won and her close second to Velveteen at the Curragh was a fine effort as she had the worst of the draw. She can gain compensation, though the speedily-bred Sweet Fragrance is a newcomer to keep an eye on.
