Tap Focus landed a 1m4f Roscommon handicap and her run in a lady riders’ event at the Curragh last weekend is best ignored. PLACERE started favourite in that latter event and though unable to cope with the winner stayed on well and today's trip should prove ideal. Gibson Park showed his first sign of ability when runner-up at Tipperary and the assessor has left him on the same mark while Ben Rumson won over slightly shorter at Ballinrobe last month when Rightdownthemiddle was behind.
