    Verdict

Opera Gal likes to force the pace and ran right up to her best when runner-up to Primevere in a Listed contest at Salisbury earlier this month. But she faces a battle for the lead with Classic Punch, who made all under a big weight in a handicap at Newmarket three weeks ago and has gone well here in the past. At the weights, however, it's difficult to get away from ELUSIVE PIMPERNEL, who has never quite recaptured the form he showed as a two-year-old but ran his best race of the season so far behind Class Is Class in a Group 3 at Haydock last time and need only reproduce that effort to score here. Decent handicapper Sirvino may be best of the rest, though Brushing takes a big drop in class.
