Bolodenka arrives in fine form but the nine-year-old has done all his winning over shorter trips though today's distance is no problem for Edas, who scored under today's amateur at Beverley last time with Harare back in third. Christmas Light won over C&D last month and has claims along with Sartingo, Laconicos and Tribal Myth but a speculative vote goes to last year's winner TROPICAL DUKE, who can race off a 9lb lower mark this time around and has been running a little better than his form figures suggest.
