Verdict

Irish import Ocean Bluff scored at the first time of asking for new connections when successful over a shorter trip at Beverley and there may be more to come from him, while last month's Musselburgh winner Hal Of A Lover is not easily dismissed. Operateur went close on fast ground over C&D in May and C P Joe also has claims if handling today's slower surface, but a chance is taken on BOLLIN MANDY. Tim Easterby's filly hasn't shown much progress over 1m4f of late, but this greater test of stamina should see her in a better light and she looks on an exploitable mark.
