Verdict

Megalala held on well when scoring by a neck at Brighton earlier in the month but a 4lb rise for that all out success my prevent the eight-year-old from following up and a safer option looks to be HOLLOW GREEN, who gets the verdict ahead of Fine Tolerance. Jim Boyle's filly showed improved form here over 1m2f last week and she has to be respected over the slightly longer trip racing off the same mark. Nick Littmoden's Lord Theo has been running consistently well but keeps on finding at least one too good and he may again have to settle for minor honours. Simon Dow's Ubiquitous has run better in her last two starts but she remains a maiden after 11 outings and may be best watched. Tony Carroll's Everyman ran better in a seller at Bath last time but this is tougher and a safer option looks to be Hollow Green. The three-year-old ran on well when successful at Ffos Las last week and a penalty may not be enough to stop the David Evans-trained filly from scoring again.
