There is little to choose between the trio of Altimatum, Block Party and SABI STAR on official BHA ratings with only 2lbs between them but the last mentioned should appreciate the return to a faster surface having run well when a close third on soft ground at Newmarket last time and John Gosden's colt looks the one to be on. The two newcomers in the race, David Simcock's Secret Desert and Walter Swinburn's Rinky Dink Lady are likely to do better over further and of more interest may be Brian Meehan's Highland Lassie, who ran better over course and distance last time than she had done on her debut. Miskin Flyer showed improved form stepping up to seven furlongs at Wolverhampton last time but he is not certain to stay the extra furlong today. Ralph Beckett's Kimberley Rocks has been fairly well held in both starts so far and of more interest may be Altimatum. Paul Cole's colt would have every chance if able to run up to the form that he showed when second at Brighton two starts ago but he has disappointed in starts either side of that. Roger Charlton's Block Party has run well in both starts this term and he has solid claims for a stable in good form but Sabi Star should appreciate the return to faster ground and he is marginally preferred.
