    Verdict

Elhaame should have benefited from his fourth at Newmarket and is only 2lb higher than when winning at that track in August. Gothic finished just ahead of Saoi at Epsom three weeks ago in a race in which Black Shadow was pulled up after losing his action. Sir Michael Stoute's gelding should do bets of that trio again while Tamasha shouldn't be far away after a promising comeback at Haydock. Field Of Fame has run well on all three starts this year and promises to appreciate this longer trip but we are likely to see SEAGULL STAR in an entirely different light after a pipe-opener at Epsom. A one-time Derby hopeful, he still has time on his side and should be capable of picking up a race like this off his current mark. Mr Gallivanter won at Catterick in April but his yard is going through a quiet spell at present.
