PEBBLESONTHEBEACH has a fitness edge over Sasheen and Seaside Sizzler and can take this maiden stakes if delivering on the promise shown at Kempton earlier this month. Julienas is another to note in the betting, as he is well-related and is an interesting contender for a small handicap at some point in the not too distant future. Others of interest include: Bianca De Medici, who has winners in her pedigree and represents a yard that should never be underestimated. Similar comments apply to Boom And Bust, who comes here rather than head to Nottingham for what might have been an easier assignment later in the week. Seaside Sizzler and Sasheen both showed glimpses of ability last season and have to merit a second look in the betting. However, Pebblesonthebeach seems to be getting the hang of things at the right time and, having gone close in a similar race last time out, a more forceful ride from Richard Hughes could easily have the desired effect this time around.
