Verdict

Medieval and Marshal Dan came home third and fourth in a Newbury handicap eight days ago in a manner suggesting they're both where the handicapper wants them at present. La Maquina's best affords him a chance but inconsistency continues to hamper him and City Wanderer was beaten at odds-on last time after being hiked to a career-high mark for Newbury and Chester wins. Rock The Cradle is proving consistent but was engaged yesterday at Newmarket. OLOROSO has been steadily finding his form through the Turf campaign and should go close receiving weight all round.
