CAPE ROYAL missed an engagement on Friday and goes here instead and the move may be a successful one with Milton Bradley's gelding having lost no caste in defeat behind the well handicapped Step It Up on Wednesday so he gets the vote with the main dangers rated as Espy and Matterofact. The last mentioned has run well in his last two starts, finishing a fair third on each occasion and he should be thereabouts again. Comptonspirit ran better at Pontefract last time when a decent third behind King Of Swords and he has every chance off the same mark today. Peter Makin's Heaven has been running consistently well of late and makes more appeal than Towy Boy, who remains a maiden after 28 starts. Sylvester Kirk's Espy lost no caste in defeat when chasing home Solemn over course and distance earlier this month and he has to be respected but Cape Royal looks to be coming into form now and he looks the one to be on.
