Yulong Xiongba is having his first start for Roger Charlton and stablemate Acolyte was easily beaten by Mullionheir at Lingfield last month. Not even a 14lb turnaround in the weights might be enough to reverse the form and John Best's top weight just failed to land the four-timer at Goodwood behind a subsequent winner. Last year's Kempton winner Lightning Charlie is unexposed and has form on Turf but UPSTAGING ran well when dropped back to 6f at Goodwood and looks nicely treated at present. Paul Cole's charge gets only a tentative vote, however, as Hills And Dales and Crack Shot both arrive off the back of recent wins.
