Plenty of leading yards on show in this maiden so the market should be monitored closely. Conquestadim and Satwa Story look newcomers of interest, whilst the likes of Thomas Hobson, Furibondo and Powder Hound all showed enough last term on admittedly limited evidence to suggest they have a future. Sir Michael Stoute seems to have his string in decent early-season nick and PERSEPOLIS looks a major contender here. The Dansili colt improved considerably on an ordinary Yarmouth debut when staying on in eye-catching fashion to claim the runner-up spot in a fair Lingfield maiden last October. Appealing as one to follow that day, he can confirm that good impression now.
