Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Windsor sprints can be trappy and this looks no exception with luck in-running often a big factor. Course winner Gladiatrix looks an obvious contender as she seeks a sixth win in her last seven outings, especially as she's equally at home over 5f or 6f. Another prominent showing must be anticipated but we'll go with NOCTURN here as the Noseda gelding has only had the five runs in three seasons and seems sure to progress considerably on achievements to date. He ran really well when just failing to rein in The Tichborne at Lingfield after an absence of over seven months and should be spot-on now off an acceptable handicap mark. Links Drive Lady had a fine time last season and will be a threat if fully wound up first time back, whilst Mezzotint and the consistent Jack My Boy also merit respect.
