This looks pretty competitive but Richard Hannon’s stable is on a high and the enigmatic Leroy Leroy has a chance if on a going day. Saikung was below par at Newmarket last month but also has claims on the pick of her form but this looks too short for Central City and Alnadir has spurned easier opportunities. Prince Of Harts has had a break since coming up against a useful sort at Ascot in July but there is a good chance he’ll handle the ground and the handicapper has left him on the same mark. LEADER WRITER had a few of these, including last year’s winner Secret Return, well beaten when strolling to victory on soft going here two weeks ago. He’s been raised 5lb but is still fairly treated on past efforts so a quick double may be on the cards.
