Verdict

MARRAKECH MOON is penalised for winning in soft ground at Yarmouth in October. But the race could hardly have worked out any better with no less than six of his seven rivals having subsequently won and the Gosden colt gets the vote. Kolisi went close at Nottingham last month and should be in the mix but Roscioli has yet to run up to his official mark so far this year and has his second outing after wind surgery. Voice Of Wisdom may prove best of the remainder.
