        Verdict

        A wide open maiden here and as usual in these events the market will be very informative but the main protagonists look to be Helidor, Klynch and Miss Chamanda and the tentative nomination is given to Helidor. The selection hails from the in form Richard Hannon yard and this well bred sort is taking to make w winning debut with Richard Hughes taking the ride. Klynch is another that catches the eye on breeding being a colt by Kallachy. He is sure to have learnt from his debut run and should be watched in the market. Miss Chamanda was second on her debut behind Bonnie Charlie and is another that is sure to improve so has definite place claims. Striding Edge hails from a yard that has already had a two-year-old winner this season so is another to note in the market. Of the remainder Buddy Marvellous is bred to be suited by further and with this in mind in a race where the market may well tell all for the winner we return to Helidor to small stakes.
