With doubts on recent form regarding the claims of Supreme Piper, Monti Flyer and Dream Falcon it might be worth taking a chance on Your So Cool on his debut in a handicap. The selection showed progressive form last term for a step up in trip and looks potentially well treated for his first start in a handicap. Martin Pipe could hardly have his stable in better form at present and the son of Karinga Bay make more appeal than Supreme Piper. The Philip Hobbs-trained gelding has been well held in two starts this autumn and a career over fences surely beckons before too long. Dream Falcon has claims on the evidence of the form shown when winning at Taunton last month but was disappointing at Kempton subsequently and is probably best watched, while Monti Flyer has been beaten off today's mark in his last two starts. Stolen Song does not look good enough and a bigger threat may come from the reappearing Our Prima Donna. Your So Cool looks to have been found a suitable race for his first start in a handicap though and he gets the vote.
