      Verdict

      Shell Bay attempts 1m2f for the first time off a 5lb higher mark than when winning over a mile at Newbury last month. Munsarim won a claimer over track and trip on his penultimate start but this is tougher while Thames Knight was narrowly beaten in this grade here before failing to figure at Sandown last time. But BIOTIC (NAP) has been thereabouts since stepping up in trip and makes more appeal than Chepstow winner Avocadeau on his third to Sweet P over course and distance a fortnight ago. Rod Millman's charge can return to winning ways in this.
