Verdict

High Acclaim got back to winning ways over course and distance two weeks ago, beating favourite Perfect Refuge just under three lengths. The latter is now 5lb better off but never looked like catching the winner. BLACK LOTUS can usually be relied on to run her race and could benefit if Statuario, who has been edging closer, and Medalla De Oro take each other on up front. She gets a tentative vote as though The Jean Genie was in good form in the spring, she hasn’t raced since April and may find the going softer than ideal. Global Art is best on Polytrack.
