      Verdict

      Wilkins won over this trip at Pontefract in July and ran so poorly on soft ground at Hamilton the following month something must have been amiss. He's been given plenty of time to recover and his stable remain in top form. METABOLT got the race in the steward's room at Haydock but would have been an unlucky loser and a 5lb rise may not be enough to prevent a double. Global Esteem is 2lb lower than when scoring on fast ground at Sandown in August and has to be considered but Two Tempting's best form is on Polytrack.
