ZAMAN JEMIL won a Newcastle handicap over this trip last summer before decent efforts in Class 2 handicaps over 7f. He's been gelded and has a long absence to overcome but could be better than this level. Clipsham La Habana is also returning after a break having won at Kempton and Newcastle at the backend of last year. He's having his first start on Turf but is another who could be destined for better things. His stablemate Kessaar Power completed a double on Polytrack and soft ground in the spring though has looked a few pounds high the last twice but there was plenty to like about Be Frank's Salisbury victory and he may have a fitness advantage over the selection.
