This is wide open, but not a great race, but VEGAS BABY is well in at the weights, and could overcome a low draw to take it ahead of Sendreni and Dr Wintringham. None of them are in great form which is why they're in this sort of contest, but although Vegas Baby was disappointing last week, she is the highest rated but has a stone in hand on top weight Rough Rock. First time blinkers at Bath may or may not have helped her but they stay on. This is a slightly longer trip than last time, and the way she finished suggests that to be a positive, from what is a low draw. Ryan Moore's an eye-catching jockey booking, and could bring the best out of him. Sendreni has a good high draw, and won a decent handicap on his penultimate run before disappointing in an apprentice claimer. Dr Wintringham is the least exposed, with this just his fourth run, but is being kept at this level for now rather than being put into handicaps. He's gaining plenty of weight all round, which should help him if there's improvement to come. It's not a contest to catch the eye, but the one that could win it in our opinion is Vegas Baby.
