      Verdict

      ARGYLE, a much-improved second over 1m2f at Pontefract on his final start of 2015, looks the one to be on here if handling the ground. Bill Muir's string is in fine form and the grey drops down a grade for his reappearance and first start in a handicap. Epsom Day has only had one previous start on Turf but did win at Lingfield in January and October Storm, who is less exposed, scored at Kempton last month. Provoking hinted at ability last year while Howardian Hills has shown a bit more lately but Cat Royale and Marmajuke Bay probably have some improving to do if they are to get involved.
