      Verdict

Italian Tom won this last year but finished last when favourite at Bath on Saturday. ALNOOMAAS has only won on Polytrack but ran his best race to date on Turf behind Asian Trader at Sandown last time and is taken to go one better. Aye Aye Digby only went up 3lb for scoring at Goodwood last month but didn't run as well on a return visit a couple of weeks later. Balty Boys is by far the best class horse in the race but he's only won once in 16 starts. He's now on a very competitive rating and would be an obvious threat if anywhere near his best. Blue Jack has won nine races in his career but is 10lb higher than for his latest victory.
