Verdict
A regular here, Carp Kid is only 3lb higher than when successful over 1m2f here last August. Fit from the all-weather, OH HERBERTS REIGN’s last win came on soft ground off an 11lb higher mark and this is a good opportunity to get his head back in front. Sly Madam won four times last year so will need to drop a few pounds but Micks Dream is worth a market check and Roundabout Silver was just beaten over course and distance on his final start last year. Darvel needed his comeback run and may be best of the rest.
