With Brian Meehan's runners doing so well at present, it would come as no surprise to see Chris's Ridge run well first time up but lack of a previous run is a concern and a safer option looks to be BATTLE HONOUR. Henry Candy's gelding found one too good for the second time this season when chasing home Give Your Verdict in a Nottingham maiden last month and he has solid claims of going one better today. Brian Meehan is also represented by Aultcharn but he looks readily opposable after his latest start at Kempton and of more interest may be Sir Michael Stoute's Official Style, who has earned a rating of 81 and ran much better when narrowly beaten by Green Destiny at Haydock last time. Peter Chapple-Hyam's Streets Of War is another worthy of a mention but Battle Honour has more solid claims and gets the vote.
