Richard Hannon can do little wrong with his juveniles this term so Humdrum has to be considered following her first effort in a Newbury maiden won by Cape Dollar but she will need to improve on her effort that day when finishing 11th of the 14 runners, while Mick Channon's Bint Mazyouna only beat two home in a Goodwood maiden first time up last month. Brian Meehan has his string in good heart so Secret Gold has to be respected but she was well beaten on her debut at Leicester and is hard to back with confidence. Most of those with experience need to improve greatly on what they have shown so far and this may go to one of the newcomers in the race with John Gosden's SYMI looking the most appealing being a daughter of Hennessy, well drawn and a from a stable in good form.
