This very competitive looking handicap can go the way of Tarkheena Prince, but also worthy of closer inspection are Mazaaya and First Avenue. Alan Swinbank's taking Tarkheena Prince all the way down from Yorkshire for his only runner of the night, so will hope to make the trip worthwhile whith his 3rd win in 4 outings. It's also Kerrin McEvoy's only scheduled ride of the evening. The ground won't be a problem, and he's likely to try to come from off the pace. First Avenue is an improving sort and been placed on his 3 races this season, including here in a similar contest in May. He' Michael Jarvis' sole representative on the card, and his strike rate recently has been impressive at the circuit, with 2 wins and a second from his 3 runners. Mazaaya and Tarkheena Prince are giving weight to all their rivals; Mazaaya, from rookie trainer David Lanagan's yard, was just beaten last time out at Salisbury, and if she runs a similar race, prominent with the pace, is expected to go close. But to land this, we'll go with Tarkheena Prince.
