Division Two of the maiden is a real pin stickers' affair with seven debutants, including our selection DESERT CREEK, who could land this at the expense of All About You and Desert Links. Desert Creek is Sir Michael Stoute's runner and he and jockey Ryan Moore have an excellent strike rate here. This could prove to be the first repayment of the 120,000 guineas he cost. He is drawn low though, which could be a negative. All About You, another expensive purchase, was second on debut in a better race than this to a very short-priced favourite. That experience could prove invaluable, and he's got an entry for April's Tattersalls Timeform Trophy at Newmarket. Desert Links' breeding gives cause for optimism, but Richard Hannon's usually need a race. Of the others, Pressing Matters finished well ahead of Majestic Lady on debut, Diapson will have benefited from a respectable but unspectacular debut while Mojeerr has shown little of note in two runs to date. Market support should be noted for any of the newcomers; watch your deserts here; the one we favour is Desert Creek.
