In depth

Verdict

DUBAI SILK beat subsequent handicap winner Kimifive, now rated 90, on her reappearance over course and distance in May and that looks better form than Indian Tygress’ victory on soft going at Doncaster and a subsequent second at Wolverhampton - the latter also drops back from 6f. None of the others with experience have shown much but Clive Cox’ newcomer Maid Of Spirit is a half-sister to four winners and worth a market check. Poyle George Two is a half-brother to the speedy Poyle Vinnie and is also interesting.
