        Verdict

        Shorter Skirt is the obvious starting point in this as she was only beaten a nose by a subsequent winner on her debut and Kempton and slightly impeded when also runner-up at Lingfield. She won’t be far away if transferring that form to Turf but AIM POWER may have slightly more scope and Silvestre De Sousa keeps faith with Richard Hannon’s filly after a decent debut at Goodwood, where she wasn’t given a hard time. Hannon also runs newcomer Laoise but she was a cheap purchase and more interesting debutantes include Engrossed, who will be one to watch when tackling further, and Archie Watson’s Lawman filly Petits Fours.
