When the going is on the quick side at Windsor in these big-field sprints, the general consensus is to go favour those drawn high, in which case we will shortlist High Ridge, Prince Cyrano and Kostar, but side with Conjuror. The lightly-raced Conjuror looked to be improving last time, when running over course and distance. He is now six pounds better off for the length and a half he finished behind High Ridge there. The latter has been in good heart but ran last time as though the handicapper may now have caught up with him. The lightly-raced Kostar has now dropped to a reasonable mark and, with his stable back among the winners, cannot be dismissed. Also drawn well is the recent winner Prince Cyrano, who comes here in good heart and could conceivably still be reasonably weighted. Of the others, Nautical might have some improvement to come on Turf but, for the winner, we will side with Conjuror.
