Verdict

Cosmeapolitan stayed on well from off the pace when third to Huge Future at Newbury in a manner indicating this step-up in trip will suit but he's yet to show his best on quick ground. If he does handle conditions, a big run is anticipated. Batts Rock is hard to assess and we'll let him run and go with the lightly-raced MYTIMEHASCOME, hooded on this first run since mid-May when shaping with promise in maiden company behind Shall We, who's gone on to finish a respectable fifth in the Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot. The selection should appreciate this trip and looks on a fair mark for this first handicap run. Kesselring was beaten last time at Sandown after a runaway Goodwood success and could be interesting on quick ground for the first time, Against The Odds and Sepal need to improve on latest efforts.
