Verdict

Happy Ending got off the mark upped to 1m2f at Brighton but whether she’ll stay this even long trip is anybody’s guess. Sageness showed signs of improvement at Redcar last month and there may be more to come from Homing Star on Turf. A couple of handicap debutants catch the eye, though Elapidae has been confined to the all-weather so far. HOT OFF THE PRESS’ dam was best over 6f and 7f but she’s produced a couple of winners over 1m2f and Michael Bell’s filly is by Camelot so should stay this 1m4f – she gets the nod in a modest affair.
