LAKE KALAMALKA is in the form of his life this season and he is taken to follow up on his recent Bath success at the expense of Urban Space and Cayman Sky. The selection struggled to compete last year as a backward two year old but the penny has finally dropped this season. He caught the eye at Folkestone on his first start of the season when finishing second and improved to win nicely at Bath last time out and looks more than capable of winning off his five pounds higher mark. Urban Space landed a handicap at Nottingham on his penultimate start but was beaten off a seven pound higher mark at Pontefract last time out. The handicapper may well have his measure on him at the moment but he is still relatively unexposed and any market moves should be noted. Cayman Sky ran a personal best over course and distance recently and could be potentially well treated. He is only lightly raced and is open to further improvement.
