David Evans appears to hold a strong hand in this sprint with the race-fit pair LIHOU and Ooh Is It. This is generally the former’s time of year and he is well enough treated to go close if a high draw doesn’t prove a disadvantage. A winner here in August, The Princes Poet was quite highly tried after but Equality may be a bigger danger as he’s only had six runs on Turf and was running into form in the autumn though was still almost three lengths behind Four Adaay at Goodwood in September and is only a pound better off.
