Sotik Star is going the right way and can land this tricky maiden, Blue Aura, Fast Lightning and Squadron Leader are also worthy of respect. The selection improved his debut effort to finish an excellent third behind the decent Signor Pedro at Haydock last month. There should be plenty more to come and he looks the safest option. Blue Aura made a pleasing, if not spectacular debut here in August, and should do better this time. Squadron Leader has shown plenty of ability in three races to date and will be hard to keep out of the money. Meanwhile the pick of the newcomers could be the Willie Haggass trained Fast Lightning, a son of Barathea. It is hard to pick the winners of these events at this time of year and Hang Loose and Libgatt are two others in with chances, but the solid form is held be Sotik Star who just gets the verdict.
