Verdict
POINT OF LIGHT can complete a four-timer here, and gets our support ahead of Vita Mia and Mustajed. Two of those successes have been unpenalised as they came in apprentice handicaps, and he's still got masses in hand at the weights. The other win came in a better handicap than this. A son of Pivotal, he looks a progressive sort, and is capable at a mile and a quarter and a mile and a half. He wouldn't want it to be too soft though, and has a string of other possible entries lined up for later in the week. Vita Mia is on a hat-trick after successes in similar races to this at Folkestone and Chester. She's got a six pound penalty, but is also well in at the weights, level with the selection. Expect her to be at the vanguard early on. Mustajed may be in the grip of the handicapper, rated a pound higher than when last winning at February. Placed in his last four outings he can be relied on to run his race, but can't get his head in front where it matters. Top weight Eseej has done all his best work on the all-weather surfaces; three wins have come at Southwell, Wolverhampton and Kempton, while he's yet to be placed in five outings on turf. Eventually he's expected to go jumping. Plenty of these keep getting into contention to win, but the our selection Point Of Light is a regular winner, and can extend his fine form tonight.
