This is a very competitive classified race and the finish may concern Shredded, Street Life and Polar Jem, with the former just edging the decision. John Gosden's four-year-old is very lightly raced and finished last season with a promising fourth behind Shouette. The fact that the stable is persevering with this son of Diesis suggests there is a race to be won with him. Polar Jem landed her maiden at Nottingham last October and made a pleasing return to the same track last month when a close up third behind Olivia Rose. Street Life has to be a big threat to the selection, he is a consistent and talented handicapper rated in the mid-seventies who ran a cracker to finish second in a tough Newbury handicap recently. Many others can be given a chance on their best form including Luca Cumani's Maxilla, but we will keep faith with John Gosden and give Shredded our tentative vote.
