        Verdict

A tricky finale with plenty of possibles but the draw will play a part and on the forecast good to firm going, a high berth should prove to be an advantage. With this in mind, the in-form and lightly weighted Sharoura may struggle from stall 2 and is passed over on this occasion. I Wish had nothing to spare when scrambling home at Chepstow last month and looks held off a 4lb higher mark while Majik has also risen sharply for back-to-back handicap wins in June. Threat is capable of going close on the pick of his form this term but TEAMtalk preference is for Cold Climate. The Bob Jones-trained gelding is well treated at present and found trouble in running last time when finishing a neck behind Sussex Lad when the pair clashed at Newmarket last week and is taken to reverse the form granted luck in running.
