Fountains Abbey stepped up on her debut effort when third on unsuitably testing ground at Goodwood when last seen in May and she gets the vote to open his account today, with the main dangers rated as Aegean Pride and Suede. The last mentioned made a pleasing debut at Goodwood last month and Pat Eddery's filly has to be respected, with improvement anticipated for that outing. Bianca Capello was well held on both her starts as a juvenile but may do better on her first start at three. John Gosden's Citron Presse is likely to do better over further, while Roger Charlton has his string in good order so his newcomer Tarr Steps has to be respected but will need to be useful to trouble the judge. Richard Hannon's Aegean Pride is a well related newcomer and has to be of interest but she will need to be useful to get the better of Fountains Abbey, who gets the vote.
