KINGSGATE CHOICE is preferred here to Danny's Choice and Humidor in a competitive three-year-old sprint. John Best's Choisir colt has won two of his four starts, most recently at Ffos Las when beating Six Diamonds comfortably. He has a 7lb higher mark to contend with today but he looks to be progressing well and with the ground in his favour he should go close. Danny's Choice represents a yard in good nick and this filly shaped as if she has trained on when fourth to Ghostwing at Chester, Lucky Mellor goes without blinkers on his first turf start, whilst Ignatieff is consistent but may now be high enough in the weights as a result. Leleyf has a little to find with him on their run here behind Russian Rock, La Fortunata is consistent but ultimately hard to win with, whilst the same may have been levelled at Humidor before his Doncaster maiden victory last month; he is open to improvement. Not an easy race to call but the most progressive runner looks to be Kingsgate Choice.
