Verdict
Having finishing close to a subsequent listed winner on debut ABIDHABIDUBAI looks the call in a girls only maiden with Sonning Rose looking the danger after a good first run and we can also forgive Whisper Louise a slightly disappointing effort last time. The pick was eye-catching in the finish when he was beaten just over a length by Geesala on debut. That one went on to take the Listed Hilary Needler Trophy and with a few who finished behind the pick also adding strength to the form she looks the one. Sonning Rose was only just held in second in a potentially strong Goodwood maiden. There's enough to like about her pedigree and she's in good hands. Whisper Louise ran a nice first effort and couldn't quite step up on that next time. That might be a little harsh as that last run was in a warm looking race and this looks easier. Freedom Trail and Sapphire Girl look better on paper than they've shown so far but the form supporting Abidhabidubai's chances looks strong.
