None of the runners in this open handicap are stand-outs at the weights so with jockey James Sullivan riding well at present we side with KLYNCH ahead of Not My Choice and Dickie Le Davoir. Only just held when three pounds better off last time the selection looks well-treated on the pick of his form. He has conditions to suit and this looks his best distance. Not My Choice is also up in the handicap despite defeat after beating home a subsequent winner on his last run. He also goes well on this going and Jimmy Fortune looks a strong jockey booking. Dickie Le Davoir is a course and distance winner who performed better than the bare result suggest on his latest effort. The form from his penultimate run also has some strength to it so he could overcome a revised rating. Outside these three not much else makes much appeal and Klynch looks the best of that trio.
