In this Classified Stakes race we will side with Pango, with Katiypour and Aperitif rated as his main dangers. The selection looked very unlucky in running at Goodwood last time when beaten a short head by Ephesus in a competitive mile handicap. A repeat of that effort puts him firmly in the reckoning here and we reckon he holds solid claims. Katiypour comes here on the back of a tidy Brighton win, will love the going and, clearly in good heart, ought to go well. Johannian has not won for a while now and might get done for toe at the business end of this contest, while Aperitif is lightly raced and open to a lot of improvement. He was running on well when the race was all over last time so looks to be on the upgrade. Overall, Baker Of Oz has been disappointing since showing promise as a juvenile, and Chasing The Dream has failed to sparkle in her last two runs but, if connections have found the key to her, she might go well as she looked promising when she first arrived on the scene. Overall, though, we feel that the safer option is Pango, who gets our vote.
