Verdict

SWISS ART is the highest rated here and gets our support, but Dalrymple and Troubletimestwo are also worthy of consideration. It's not a race to get too excited about, but Ron Harris' charge did win a couple of sellers in March, albeit on the Fibresand at Southwell. That was followed up with a disappointing run at Wolverhampton, when he got stuck in traffic. This is his first run on turf, and first at more than a mile, but from what he's shown to date, he should be too good for most if not all of these. Dalrymple was claimed by Ian Williams after winning a similar contest last month, after previous trainer Neil King had intended to send him hurdling. He had another go here shortly after that win but was disappointing when stepped up in trip on handicap debut, so a return to a mile and a quarter should be seen as a positive. He's the only course and distance winner in the field. Troubletimestwo finished well down the field on handicap debut last time out. This is his fifth run and all have been at a different trip, with his best effort coming when fourth at Wolverhampton over nine furlongs. Plenty here have plenty of negatives about them, but the pick of the bunch in our opinion is Swiss Art.
