      Verdict

It’s almost 12 months since Ceramist made her debut at Nottingham but she’ll probably be ready for this and goes on the short-list. Daisy Chain followed up a third over a mile at Newbury by filling the same position in what looked a decent maiden over this trip at Doncaster. Hulcote has also shown ability in both starts to date but is another who will be qualified for handicaps after this. WOHILEH stayed on well behind an odds-on chance in a novice event at Salisbury in June and connections will be keen to find a race for her before the season is out to boost her paddocks value. Maybe Today was a $100,000 yearling and may be the pick of the newcomers.
